We visited lake district over Easter of 2002, since then I have sworn not to drive north on a bank holiday weekend. We stayed in Grasmere and Wordsworth’s Dove Cottage was a stone’s throw from our BnB. Spending time on and around lake windermere was the other attraction. We also visited the museum in memory of Beatrix Potter as well as the local aquarium. The highlight for myself was trying out the new Sony Video Camera I had brought and my first attempt at computerised video editing after the trip.
